27 oktober 2026 - Health Data, Research and Innovation: Navigating the Evolving Regulatory Landscape [This webinar will be held in English]
The use of personal data is central to innovation across the life sciences sector, from clinical research and real-world evidence studies to AI-driven development and personalised healthcare solutions. At the same time, organisations face an increasingly complex regulatory environment, with evolving expectations around data governance, transparency, international data sharing and the use of sensitive health data.
In this webinar, our speakers will discuss selected current issues relating to the processing of personal data for research purposes in the life sciences sector. The session will provide practical perspectives on legal developments. The final agenda will be announced closer to the event, allowing us to address the latest developments and the topics most relevant to the industry.
Speakers: The session will be led by Christian Wiese Svanberg, one of the Nordics' leading data protection practitioners, with more than 20 years of experience in GDPR, cybersecurity and AI. Christian played a key role in the negotiations leading to the GDPR during Denmark's EU Presidency and has held senior legal positions within the Danish Defence Intelligence Service, the Danish National Police and the Danish Data Protection Agency. He will be joined by Astrid Bohlin, who advises life sciences companies and other organisations on data protection, information security and technology-related regulatory matters.
